Sketching at Chinatown Brisbane Qld 14th July 2015

It was an unusually ccccold day in Brisbane on Tuesday 14th.  The Brisbane Urban Sketchers came out to sketch no matter that  was 5 degrees Celsius at 6.00am  Thirteen of us came out, it was a great morning..

My friends Vivienne and Deirdre had the right idea.  They were standing in the sun sketching. The lions at the entrance to the mall, there are two of them,  are reported to weigh 320kg and sit there to prevent evil spirits from entering the area. They were a gift from the People's Republic of China.

Coffee time is always a load of fun.
